Hmmmm interesting. Funny you mention it because I was taking gaba not too long ago and it was in a mixture with some other stuff. Anyways, I think it was causing me to wake up kind of uncoordinated and feeling just kind of weird. Dissociative I guess you could say, which makes sense because it’s related to the NMDA receptors somehow I think. It supposedly “can’t” cross the blood brain barrier, at least this is repeated despite the fact that it can and does, it’s just an unreliable mechanism in which it does. Low levels of gaba were insinuated to absorb more in the brain also. I didn’t have this issue as if I took the full 750 mg I felt very strange consistently and none of the other supplements in the mixture would seem to do this.

The good news is though that you don’t NEED to consume massive amounts of carbohydrates in a single sitting. We’re talking about what’s optimal for your typical ectomorph, but hell that’s not the ONLY way to get results. Given that you aren’t a “totally typical ectomorph” it just means you need to find a diet that’s optimal for you. That’s not a problem though, and there’s nothing bad about eating a higher protein diet either. Eating more protein is a totally valid way to increase the amount of calories you’re eating 🙂

Wow, was I surprised or what? Before the 30 day period was up, I had clearly lost a fair amount of fat; I had gained a noticeable amount of muscle, and I just seemed to have so much more power than usual. I don’t only mean more muscle power either. I was no longer feeling tired and worn out by the end of my workout sessions. Instead, it felt as though I could easily have extended my workouts, but rather than training for longer, I chose to add addition weight to my barbell presses and so on. If you asked me to draw up a list of the pros and cons of using this product, my list would be something like this……..

Thank God we have short straight intestinal tracts, right?  Wrong!!  Nothing could be further than the truth.  Our intestines are very long with many convolutions.  We can pretend all we want, but we have the gut of an herbivore.  Yes, we can eat some meat and all virtually all cultures on planet earth eat at least some animal foods, but dumping the typical low carb meal into our GI tract is simply fighting against Mother Nature.  Your gut is cursing the darkness as this  rancidifing, decomposing, lardy mass slowly scrapes its way through the many twists and turns of the small intestine. Many low carbers consume lots of heme iron, which is pro-inflammatory just to complete the package.
